Windows dns not updating

Dont have a router there, only a 3750 tied in via a fiber link.I have been looking at the Cisco docs for getting this to work but nothing yet.

A: The short answer is no; however, it's important to step back and understand how DNS interacts with DHCP regarding dynamic updates, then look at what each of the two actions mentioned in the title actually does—namely, setting DNS dynamic update credentials on DHCP and adding a DHCP server to the Dns Update Proxy group.

Would appreciate any pointers on getting this to work.

Hello, DNS is not my strong suit, so hopefully this is simple to more practiced hands.

I have a DC that provides internal DNS for our company, but DHCP is handled by the firewalls in each branch.

My DNS entries are not updating with the information from DHCP (time stamps, new IPs, etc.).
